Our Home-made rubs contain no preservatives.

It is made using spices sourced from mostly local Australian manufacturers.

40 grams is enough for approximately 1kg of meat

80 grams of rub is enough for approximately 2kg of meat.

160 grams rub will be good for approximately 4kg meat.

Our rubs are great for BBQs, frying, baking, pot roasting, grilling, smoking, broiling- just to name a few cooking methods.

How to get the most out of your rub:

  1. Use 2-3 tablespoons of dry rub per 500g of meat.
  2. Rub the mix into the meat about 20 minutes before you cook.
  3. Use enough pressure so it sticks evenly to the meat.
  4. Remove excess rub with a dry brush.
  5. Brush lightly with oil before meat hits heat.
  6. Add a little water or squeeze some lemon juice over meat to stop spices and herbs burning.
